WHAT’S YOUR CRITERIA OF A MISBEHAVING
AUTHOR/REVIEWER?
I think that the relationship between authors and reviewers must have a foundation of respect on which other terms are built on. As in everything on life, you should know what your rights are and what your responsibilities towards the other person are.
Which brings me to the next point. Never, not even for a second, forget that on the other side of your screen, you’re dealing with a real person. Nobody likes being screwed over, so don’t be that jerk that does that to other people.
Ultimately, if you ever find yourself in a situation where you’re being mistreated in anyway, always handle it with class. Hear the other person’s side of the predicament and if they’re still in the wrong, don’t stoop to the level that brought on the problem in the first place.
Hope this helps!
Very true – it is all about respect.
